Meet the Band

Alex Fowler

Alex Fowler was born in New Orleans, where brass, jazz, and funk were encoded in his character. He first discovered his passion for music as a member of the St. Paul’s Marching Wolves. Now, he is pursuing a marketing degree with an emphasis in Digital Marketing Strategy. During his most recent semester, he and Patrick began crafting the ultimate band to bring the soundtrack of Persona 3 Reload to life. In addition to working for Corbec Media LLC, Alex designed new pages for the FowlerFilm website, edited videos to help promote the concert, and arranged compositions for his trumpet and vocoder.

Jonathan Kelchner

Jonathan Kelchner, born in Lubbock, Texas, and raised in Covington, Louisiana, is a Computer Science major at Ole Miss. He plays the trumpet for the Ole Miss marching band, The Pride of The South, and in his free time enjoys playing his guitar and bass guitar. He currently works seasonally at Eustis Engineering and is a part of the band "Bog Water", a duo composed of himself and Alex Fowler. Some fun facts about Jonathan: he is an avid sumo wrestling fan, his nickname is "Reggie", and he hasn't played the game that this concert is based on (but enjoys the music nonetheless.

Henry Cowperthwaite

Born and raised in the live music capital of Austin, 15-year-old drummer Henry Cowperthwaite has been driving the groove for years – a journey that famously began when he turned his family kitchen into a drum kit using wooden spoons and spatulas. Fresh off rocking the stage at Atone’s, Henry balances his passion for drumming with a love for travel, coffee, and his number-one fan, his cat Pancho. When he isn’t dropping beats, he is currently homeschooled. Once he wraps up his sophomore year, he plans to take his education to the next level by finishing high school at ACC and then onto the big stage of college.

Patrick Cullen

Patrick Cullen, born and raised in Covington, Louisiana, has held a lifelong passion for music. Trained from a young age, he has built a strong foundation of musical talent and knowledge which he is very excited to build upon in his upcoming years at Belhaven University. First introduced to the Persona franchise by a good friend, Patrick now holds a deep respect and appreciation for the games, especially Persona 3 Reload, for helping him in numerous ways.

Miguel D’Elia

A two-year-old Miguel first discovered his passion for music in Cape Town, South Africa. He has quite a story to tell, but he finds the best way to express it is through his playing. Through LAAPA, Miguel has learned from many great teachers, including Ben Hurst and Ryan Tingle. Miguel excels as a backup electric guitarist for numerous musical projects, but he also writes his own songs and isn’t afraid to perform solo. To him, music is his sanctuary, and he hopes his playing can cultivate a safe vibe for you as well.

The Set List

  • Since the first entry in the Persona Series, this track has been the theme for the metaphysical “Velvet Room.” - Haruko Komiya & ATLUS Sound Team

  • The day theme plays while the player plans how to spend their days over the course of the in-game year. - Azumi Takahashi & ATLUS Sound Team

  • The night theme with an added trumpet solo, which is reminiscent of another Persona 3 track, “Joy.” - Azumi Takahashi, Lotus Juice, & ATLUS Sound Team

  • A track that plays during a turning point in the story as the player nears the final moments of the game. - ATLUS Sound Team

  • A piano piece that plays during the game’s most hopeless moments, performed by Patrick Cullen. - ATLUS Sound Team
